I don't believe there is a way to do that natively from Lotus Notes.
We have installed CutePDF on our machines to allow us to do this. CutePDF Writer is a free PDF print driver. You can select the CutePDF "printer" when you print a document and it will print it to a PDF file and then prompt you to specify a path and file name to save the document.
